Ampi: Sept 15: With the initiative of the Molsom community the 8th state level general conference of Molsom Youth Association has been organized on 11 of September 2021 here in Raio Molsom Para under Killa RD block in Udai Pur, Gumati Tripura. The conference was inaugurated by Danti Charan Molsom, Kanchikau of Molsom Dofa Rai Committee in the presence of Lalhmangal Molsom, head chieftain of Molsom community and many other Molsom dignitaries., Targeting more better social management and foster its progress the Molsom community has reformed their Molsom Youth Association and included more efficient members in the organization. As per the report of the concerned authority, the newly appointed of general MYA executive committee (2021-2022) members are as follows: president-Zabin Pada Molsom, vice president- Siamliana Molsom, general secretary- Sange Mohan Molsom, asst. general secretary- mudukanta Molsom, treasurer- Manlai Bahadur Molsom, financial secretary- Nagar Chandra Molsom. In the wing secretary segment some more additional responsibilities have been given to some responsible persons as: Education secretary- Timothy Molsom, sports secretary- Rambahadur Molsom, cultural secretary- Abilin Molsom, info & E/A secretary- Sanjay Molsom, literature secretary- Chandra Molsom, literature join secretary- Jagadish Molsom. The entre Molsom Dofa Rai Committee including 77 units of Molsom villages have approved the MYA new executive committee and applauded the new formation consisting active persons who will toil for their social development.
Night curfew extended in Tripura

Agartala: Aug 31: The number of corona positive case has decreased a lot in Tripura. As a result, the state administration feels there is no need to tighten the curfew. The night curfew has been extended to September 30 after reviewing the situation in Corona.
According to the previous order, the night curfew will be in force from 10 pm on September 1 to 5 am on September 30. According to the new notification, 50 per cent of the total capacity will be available for closed-door meetings or gatherings. A distance of 2 yards must be maintained for sitting and video recording has been made mandatory as proof of compliance. The new notification gives strict instructions not to leave the house without a reason or unnecessarily. Maintain a distance of 8 feet on the street or in public places with people other than family members. No more than 50 people are allowed to attend the wedding. Similarly, more than 20 people are not allowed to attend the shraddha or funeral procession.
However, public access to all religious places is being opened. But the Corona rules must be strictly observed. Because, according to the notification issued today, cinema halls, multiplexes, gyms, swimming pools, sports complexes, stadiums, entertainment parks, bars can be opened only by following the rules. Besides, shops, shopping complexes, beauty parlors, saloons will be open from 8 am to 9 pm. Even so, the restaurant and dhaba will remain open until the same time. All public and private workplaces can be 100 percent staff present. However, in order to avoid traffic jams, those organizations will schedule employees to come to the office for a certain period of time. Curfew has been imposed in Tripura Corona. Now the situation is under control. Therefore, after reviewing the situation, the Tripura government has issued a new notification of Corona Curfew. In case of exemption from restrictions, exemption has been given as per the previous order.

Agartala: Aug 31: After a long wait, the cabinet was expanded, the newly inducted minister, Susanta Choudhury has been given the responsibility of Information and Cultural affairs, Youth affairs and sports and PWD(DWS). Minister Bhagaban Das has been given charge of Welfare of Scheduled Caste department, animal resource development and labour department. Ramprasad Paul has been given the charge of Home (Jail and Fire and Emergency Services), welfare of other backward classes and cooperation.
Minister Shantana Chakma was relieved from the charge of animal resource development department and given the charge of urban development department with Social Welfare and Social Education department.
MoS Pratima Bhoumik greets BSF troopers with Rakhi

Minister of state Pratima Bhoumik on Saturday paid a visit to the border fencing areas located in the peripheries of Agartala city. The Minister interacted with the BSF troops deployed in the fencing and greeted them with Rakhis. The Union Minister talked to the BSF men and told them that they might be far from their homes, but the people of this state are their family. Bhoumik said “I am here to greet the BSF people. They should not feel that they are far from their homes. The sense of brotherhood should be maintained everywhere and the BSF people who putting their lives at risk to secure our lives should be given the due honour and respect”.

Agartala: Aug 21: Pijush Kanti Biswas has resigned from the post of acting president of the Pradesh Congress. He has sent his resignation letter to All India President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He resigned from the team on Saturday morning.
After the resignation, the news was reported to the reporter by phone this afternoon. He said he will fulfill his legal responsibilities in the coming days. However, as soon as the news spread in the political arena, there was a stir. Lawyer Piyush Kanti Biswas expressed hope that he would work in the interest of the society in the coming days.
