‘Vande Tripura’ launched in Tripura
Agartala: May 17: A full time educational TV channel ‘Vande Tripura’ launched by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with Educationa Minister Ratan Lal Nath today at Secretariat.
Chief Minnister Biplab Kumar Deb said that education is a sensitive sector where 24 new reforms were taken to upgrade the student’s education which was appreciated by the ministry of education. Vande Tripura, a full time channel to broadcast classes for schools and higher educational institutions and also educational programmes. Recorded classes will be broadcasted.
Schools are now closed for COVID-19 pandemic, many students leave their studies in such delay. Vande Tripura would help students combat educational loss and beat inferiority complex from failure due to loss of class. He also said that the channel would provide benifits to students across the state.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said ,”State faced 36 percent educational loss from the progress we reached from our unique initiatives. In order to cover the educational loss, we have decided to start a dedicated educational channel”.
Vande Tripura has started with recorded lessons. It would starts live classes, discussions on different academic topics, educational news and different information on education department and directorate from June 1.
Vande Tripura was launched as a 24X7 educational channel, available on GTPL cable network, Shristi- Hathway cable network, JioTV and youtube.
